In a report released this week, the federal government has finally admitted neonicotinoids are to blame for the catastrophic bee deaths that have occurred over the last several years. The findings are part of the first scientific risk assessment to be done on the controversial insecticides and their effect on bee colonies.

The report confirms what environmentalists and beekeepers have implored for years: neonicotinoids weaken, disorient and kill honeybees.

Baltimore is known to many as the heroin capital of the US. If William Richards has anything to do with it, it may also become the nation’s most psychedelic city.

For the past 15 years, a Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine program co-founded by Richards has dosed hundreds of people with a variety of psychedelic drugs. False. Actually the FDA only reviews studies that were designed, administered, secretly performed and paid for by the multinational profit-driven drug companies. The studies are frequently farmed out by the pharmaceutical companies by well-paid research firms, in whose interest it is to find positive results for their corporate employers. Unsurprisingly, such research policies virtually guarantee fraudulent results.

How mad is it that the president of the New Zealand Police Association can walk around a cannabis store in America and inspect legal marijuana asking questions about the business and then joke with the guys in the store about not coming to New Zealand because marijuana is not legal there YET? The war on drugs is a disaster and crime against humanity.

Male macho culture in New Zealand is a sad parody of itself. The whole "I gotta be staunch as fuck and intimidating" bullshit that 96% of male buffoons in this country subscribe too is disturbing and depressing to watch. Many NZ men look like a bunch of wild apes waddling around with watermelons under their tattooed armpits while grunting and baring their teeth at each other. It is especially evident in the city on a Friday or Saturday night when they are prowling around drunk trying to impress or force themselves upon women.

An anthropologist says Kiwis and Aussies who blame booze for their violence should instead point the finger at our macho culture.
