Hello r/Drugs. I am a LEO for a medium sized city(I will not provide proof, sorry everyone), we have about 80K in population. The city is a college city so half of the population is young, experimental, and stupid. Then we have the 3-4 percenters who make a comfortable wage, have a college degree, and enjoy their life. Then we have the rest of the population who are criminals, minimum wage adults supporting families, and homeless people.

The cities average income is 19K a year and we have the most meth labs per square mile than any other place in the USA.

I'm one of the believers in legalization of all drugs. Not only could we make a mountain of cash taxing all drugs, we could stop throwing in billions trying to stop them. We'd be saving and gaining, the best kind of financial decision.

I see a lot of posts on here about dealing and I want to help you not get caught which also helps us save money.

Drug use and possession has more than doubled in regional Victoria in the past five years, new crime figures show.

The Crime Statistics Agency report, which used data based on police records, showed big jumps in drug use and possession, particularly in small towns.

The Gisborne-Macedon area, north of Melbourne, saw a rise of more than 300 per cent in drug use in the last five years while in the state's east, the Warragul-Drouin region, recorded a jump in drug use of more than 200 per cent.

Ireland will move towards decriminalising substances including heroin, cocaine and cannabis as part of a “radical cultural shift”, the country's drugs minister has said.

Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, the chief of Ireland’s National Drugs Strategy, told a lecture at the London School of Economics on Monday that drug users will be able to inject in specially designated rooms in Dublin from next year.

According to Brookings Fellow John Hudak, it’s time for the government to recognize the serious policy risks born from limiting medical marijuana research.

Saudi prince Abdel Mohsen bin Walid bin Abdulaziz was caught in an airport in Lebanon on Monday with over two tons of drugs.

Lebanese security found 40 suitcases full of more than 4,000 pounds of amphetamine pills and cocaine on the prince’s private plane, which was on its way to Saudi capital city Riyadh. A security source told AFP that this was the largest smuggling operation ever foiled by Beirut International Airport security.

While this may seem like just another case of rich and powerful aristocrats going wild, the implications of this drug bust are much more insidious: In Saudi Arabia, people are executed over drugs. And not rarely — several times a month, on average.
