Mark Gorton is a prominent financier and a respected entrepreneur. He founded the music sharing site Limewire, and he runs Tower Research, a famed high-frequency trading firm. Gorton also believes that the "ruthless" secret cabal that assassinated JFK and planned 9/11 could be coming to kill his family.

Recent research into the psychology of conspiracy belief has highlighted the importance of belief systems in the acceptance or rejection of conspiracy theories. We examined a large sample of conspiracist (pro-conspiracy-theory) and conventionalist (anti-conspiracy-theory) comments on news websites in order to investigate the relative importance of promoting alternative explanations vs. rejecting conventional explanations for events.

The data also indicate that conspiracists were largely unwilling to apply the “conspiracy theory” label to their own beliefs and objected when others did so, lending support to the long-held suggestion that conspiracy belief carries a social stigma. Finally, conventionalist arguments tended to have a more hostile tone.

WASHINGTON -- Joined by family members who lost loved ones in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, Representative Stephen F. Lynch renewed his push Wednesday to make public part of a 9/11 congressional investigation.

The South Boston Democrat and Representative Walter B. Jones, a Republican of North Carolina, said releasing 28 pages from the investigation would expose new details on the terrorism plot that killed nearly 3,000 people. The two representatives introduced a resolution in December calling for President Obama to declassify the information.

“There are a lot of American families who lost loved ones, so it’s not just a local issue for me,” Lynch said in an interview. “They all deserve full disclosure.”

Drake speaks about 9/11 foreknowledge; in which the NSA had information that if shared could have prevented the 9/11 attacks. The NSA whistleblower discusses his own personal story and describes a inspiring conversation he had with Snowden. Drake reiterates the fact the US government has repeatedly violated its own rules and has failed to adhere to the Constitution.

How do we get people who believe the official story of 9/11 to consider the possibility that what they’ve been told is false? How do we go beyond preaching to the choir? And at what point is it necessary, or desirable, to simplify and/or soften some of the truth to avoid scaring people off?

TIM KING: The Swedish and UK governments are filling out their roles as American policy lapdogs quite properly this weekend, helping to isolate one of the world’s top activists for 9/11 truth and prevent his appearance on a popular new London-based television program, Ken O’Keefe’s Middle East Show.

The program featuring Christopher Bollyn was tentatively titled: “Who is responsible for 9/11.”

With respect to the barring of Bollyn, O’Keefe wrote, “The UK Government is so scared of myself and Christopher Bollyn talking about 9/11 truths that they are sending him back to Sweden, he will not be on my show as planned tomorrow.”

The evidence that we were lied to about 9/11 is straightforward and blatant. It has been researched, verified, and laid on the table for all to see. It is really not hard to convince most honest, open minded people who are not in denial, if you focus on the evidence. But where can they go from there? They can sign a petition, sure, but that is not enough.
