Harvey Weinstein had an army of agents, journalists, private investigators, film executives, assistants, and lawyers help him cover up decades of alleged sexual misconduct

Agents representing up-and-coming actresses who were made aware of the allegations against Weinstein were scared to raise a fuss for fear it would hurt their future business.

Mia Kirshner, a Canadian actress, traveled to New York in the mid-1990s to meet Weinstein about her starring in a film about the Warsaw ghetto uprising.

This had personal significance for Kirshner, whose grandparents were Holocaust survivors.

Her agents set up a meeting with Weinstein at her hotel room.
