CCTV suggested to spot playground bullies

New guidelines to address bullying in schools could mean more security cameras in the playground and on school buses. The report recommends a culture of respect, getting family and the community involved and promoting a safe and confidential way of reporting bullying.

The guidelines are the first work by the Bullying Prevention Advisory Group and were officially launched this afternoon at Wellington High School. They recommend a school's physical environmental should be be well lit and say close circuit television could be used to monitor grounds and school buses.
