Nine Members Of US Congress Left Christchurch Just Before Devastating Quake

Nine members of Congress and a delegation of staffers were in Christchurch, New Zealand on Tuesday, less than three hours before a devastating 6.3 magnitude earthquake rocked the nation's second largest city and claimed at least 65 lives.

Illinois congressman Don Manzullo left the New Zealand city of Christchurch just hours before it was hit by a devastating earthquake.
Manzullo is on a trade mission to New Zealand. The northern Illinois Republican says his group left Christchurch about two hours before the earthquake killed at least 75 people.
